Some boys can be a bit over-protective of those for whom they care deeply, and 'Scruffs' is one of those, when it comes to 'his' Kristophe. The fact that he is waging a losing battle has yet to occur to the boy, but, it will soon, when he realizes that it is fully natural to desire someone for more than their personality. For the time being, some might wish to stay out of range of his weaponry. (No worries about the musket, though, for that hasn't had a charge in over a hundred years, and there is no gunpowder on the campus.) |
